Nearby Public Transport
There is a nearby Light Rail station from which all of the above facilities can be reached in just a few minutes, and the new Congress Centre is less than 10 minutes walk away.
 
Spirit of Tasmania Ferry
If you are catching the Ferry to Tasmania in the summer and need to be at the Terminal early or if you are arriving in the evening, La Maison de Babette is less than 5 minutes drive from the Ferry.
 
Melbourne Congress Center & Melbourne Exhibition Center
Melbourne’s brand new Congress Centre is an easy walk from La Maison de Babette which provides just about the nearest and certainly the most affordable accommodation close to the Centre. (Other than the onsite Hilton Hotel which is certainly not as affordable). The Congress Centre is also a short tram ride away or guests who wish to do so may use La Maison De Babette's bicylces.
